A violent collision between two vehicles occurred early Saturday morning on the regional road connecting Tetovo with Jazhinca, causing serious injuries to both drivers. The incident was reported to authorities around 03:15 on July 20, 2026, precisely on the segment passing through the village of Poroj.

According to the announcement from the Tetovo Department of Internal Affairs, the accident involved a “Seat” and a “Volkswagen Golf”, both with local license plates. The first vehicle was driven by R.R., 55 years old from the village of Sllatina, while the second was driven by E.N., 39 years old from the village of Poroj. After the collision, both were taken to the Clinical Hospital of Tetovo, where medical staff confirmed they had sustained serious bodily injuries. The investigative unit of the Tetovo SPB carried out all procedural actions at the scene to clarify the causes of this road incident.
