During the protest outside the Prime Minister’s Office, participants simultaneously turned on their phone flashes while chanting, “SPAK you.” Their message was: “Turn on your flashes so Taulant Balla can count how many of us are in the square.”

Activist Edison Lika called on citizens of the 15 municipalities expected to be dissolved under the majority’s proposal to join the movement. He also announced that a protest would be held tomorrow in Shkodër against the establishment of a Serbian consulate in the city.

“We have taken to the square for the 15 small municipalities that they want to shut down. We currently have one elected representative for every 40,000 residents, while the ratio will become one for every 50,000 residents. Shameful. They have not received solutions so far; just imagine what will happen now,” Lika said.

Listing the municipalities expected to be closed, he called on residents of Fushë-Arrëz, Klos, Rrogozhinë, Dimal, Poliçan, Patos, Selenicë, Memaliaj, Cërrik, Belsh, Prrenjas, Maliq and Devoll to join the movement in demanding a resignation.

“The end of the regime and of Edi Rama will begin in this square. We will also not fail to mention the protest that will be held tomorrow in Shkodër against the Serbian consulate,” Edison Lika said.
