“Trump is a man of peace” / In Switzerland, Pakistan’s prime minister: The Iranian leadership has handled the crisis with dignity

At a time when negotiations between the United States and Iran are approaching a decisive stage, while international efforts continue to ease tensions in Lebanon and build a new security framework in the Middle East, Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commented on the latest developments in the region.

Speaking to journalists in Switzerland, where important diplomatic talks are being held, Sharif expressed appreciation for the way Iran has conducted itself during the latest crisis in the Middle East.

According to him, the Iranian leadership has shown responsibility and restraint during this tense period.

“The leadership of Iran has handled this entire crisis with dignity and with the aim of calming the situation,” he declared.

The Pakistani prime minister also stressed his belief that Tehran has a sincere intention to promote peace and stability in the region.

“I believe the Iranian leadership truly wants to promote peace in the region,” Sharif said.

He also had positive remarks for US President Donald Trump, whom he described as a leader committed to peace.

“I believe the same thing about President Trump. I have no doubt that he is a man of peace,” the Pakistani prime minister said.

Sharif also expressed confidence that both Tehran and Washington can play a role in reducing tensions in the region.

His position is seen as significant because Pakistan maintains close relations with both Iran and the United States, and closely follows developments affecting regional stability.
