At around 07:30 on Friday morning, a serious road accident that claimed the lives of two Albanian nationals occurred near the city of Serres in Greece.

According to Greek media, the accident occurred on the Amphipolis–Drama road, near the Paleokomi area, where a car collided with a truck.
The two people in the car, a 43-year-old mother and her 24-year-old son, both Albanian nationals, died as a result of the violent collision.
The victims’ bodies were transported to Serres General Hospital.
The truck’s 57-year-old driver was also injured in the accident and was taken to Drama General Hospital for medical treatment.
Greek authorities have launched an investigation to determine the causes and full circumstances of the accident.
