Tragic Accident in Durrës: Three Victims and Two Injured Identified, 16-Year-Old in Serious Condition

The three people who lost their lives and the two young people who were injured in the tragic accident that occurred overnight in Manzë, Durrës, have been identified.

The victims are Kleo Vrioni, 25, the driver of the vehicle; Sara Brugentelli, 26; and Alvi Muhaxhiri, 15.

Meanwhile, Rejsi Vrijoni, 25, and Klevis Dervishi, 16, were injured. The latter is in serious condition and has been transported to Tirana for medical treatment.

The accident occurred at around 02:22 on a secondary road in Manzë.

According to preliminary information from the police, the BMW in which the five people were traveling lost control and crashed into a concrete curb.

The collision proved fatal for three of the vehicle’s occupants. Following the accident, the car ended up in a ditch near the road.

Emergency services and firefighters arrived at the scene and worked to extract the occupants from the vehicle. The two injured people were transported for medical treatment, while the bodies of the three victims were taken to the morgue.

Images from the scene show the severe damage sustained by the vehicle, which was almost completely destroyed in the collision.

The investigative team is at the scene and is working to fully document the circumstances of the accident and determine what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
