NAMES/ Three Victims and Two Injured Identified After Tragic Durrës Crash; 16-Year-Old in Serious Condition

The three people who lost their lives and the two young people who were injured in the tragic overnight crash in Manzë, Durrës, have been identified.

The victims are Kleo Vrioni, 25, who was driving the vehicle, Sara Brugentelli, 26, and Alvi Muhaxhiri, 15.

Meanwhile, Rejsi Vrijoni, 25, and Klevis Dervishi, 16, were injured. The latter is in serious condition and has been transported to Tirana for medical treatment.

The crash occurred at around 02:22 on a secondary road in Manzë.

According to preliminary information from police, the BMW in which the five people were traveling lost control and struck a concrete curb.

The collision proved fatal for three of the vehicle’s occupants. After the crash, the car ended up in a roadside ditch.

Emergency services and firefighters arrived at the scene and worked to extract the occupants from the vehicle.

The two injured people were taken for medical treatment, while the bodies of the three victims were sent to the morgue.

Footage from the scene shows the extensive damage sustained by the vehicle, which was almost completely destroyed in the collision.

The investigative team remains at the scene and is working to fully document the circumstances of the crash and determine what caused the driver to lose control of the vehicle.
