Tragic accident: 5 vehicles collide on Durrës-Tirana highway, 45-year-old dies after being hit by a truck

In the early hours of the morning, a serious road accident was recorded on the Durrës-Tirana highway, involving five vehicles.

Police announce that around 05:20, a vehicle driven by citizen H. B., 45 years old, collided with a truck and died as a result.

Three other vehicles were also involved in the accident. Two drivers and 5 passengers were injured, but they are out of danger.

Meanwhile, citizen A. V., who is suspected of being the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the accident, left the scene and was taken to the police to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

Citizen H. B., 45 years old, collided with a truck and, as a result of the collision, lost his life at the scene.

Subsequently, three other vehicles were involved in the accident, with drivers citizens G. L., 59, and J. I., 34, as well as 5 passengers, who are out of danger.

Meanwhile, citizen A. V., who is suspected of being the driver of one of the vehicles involved in the accident, left the scene and was taken in for questioning to clarify the circumstances of the incident.

The investigative team and police services are at the scene and are carrying out the necessary investigative actions to fully document the incident, as well as to clarify the circumstances and causes of the accident.
