A serious incident occurred in Largo San Francesco da Paola, in Italy’s San Teodoro neighborhood, where a 26-year-old man died after falling from the fifth-floor window of a building, having stabbed his sister.

Italian media report that the incident occurred today, August 15, shortly before 2:00 p.m. Preliminary information indicates that the young man became involved in an altercation with his 18-year-old sister and then attacked her with a knife. She sustained injuries but is not in life-threatening condition.
After the attack, the 26-year-old fell from the apartment window and died immediately. It has not yet been determined whether he jumped intentionally or whether the fall was accidental, while his sister was taken to the hospital.
Carabinieri officers, firefighters, ambulances and emergency medical vehicles dispatched by the 118 service arrived at the scene.
