49-year-old man dies after falling at workplace in Veternik

A 49-year-old worker has died in Veternik, Pristina, after falling from a height while carrying out his work.

The incident was reported around 10:00, said Flora Ahmeti, spokesperson for the Police in the Pristina Region.

According to Ahmeti, the 49-year-old succumbed to his injuries and died at the scene.

“The male victim, aged 49, was unable to survive his injuries and died at the scene. The victim’s death was confirmed by the medical team at the scene,” Ahmeti said.

The medical team confirmed the victim’s death at the place where the incident occurred.

To shed light on the circumstances of the case, the Police have launched an investigation in cooperation with the Prosecutor’s Office and the Labour Inspectorate.
