Tonight’s Session in Doubt, Opposition Says Plenary Hall Is Locked

Besnik Tahiri, an Alliance MP, told a press conference that the Kosovo Assembly’s plenary hall remains locked, even though MPs from the former opposition have requested that a session be held to constitute the legislative institution.

According to Tahiri, the request to convene the extraordinary session was submitted on time to both Avni Dehari, who chairs the constitutive session, and the Administration of the Kosovo Assembly.

He said that, as could be seen, the doors to the hall where the Kosovo Assembly was supposed to be constituted tonight were locked. Tahiri stressed that this had happened despite their parliamentary group having notified the chair of the constitutive session and the Assembly Administration in writing and on time.
