Thursday with clear skies in most of the country, light rain and isolated thunderstorms in some areas

Thursday will find the country under relatively stable atmospheric conditions, with mostly clear weather across most of the territory.

Meteorological forecasts indicate that clear skies will prevail during the morning hours, while after midday a gradual increase in cloud cover is expected. In mountainous areas, especially in the east and southeast of the country, the clouds will thicken at times.

From midday through the afternoon hours, intermittent light rain is forecast in the mountainous areas of the east and southeast. In some isolated areas, these showers may also be accompanied by brief thunderstorms and lightning.

Light and isolated rain is expected in the Western Lowlands, while the coastline is excluded from this forecast, as the weather there will remain mostly clear. After the afternoon hours, the rain will stop throughout the territory.

The wind will blow from the northeast and northwest at an average speed of around 7 m/s, while along the coast and in valleys, at certain moments, it will reach up to 10 m/s.

As for sea conditions, both the Adriatic and the Ionian will be calm, with waves of 1 to 2 points.
