They Lost Their Lives After Coming into Contact with Electricity; Photos of the Two Victims Released! David Deda Was the Father of a Minor Son

New details have emerged about the tragic incident that occurred this evening in the village of Karmë, Vau i Dejës, where two people lost their lives after allegedly coming into contact with electricity outside a bar-café.

Forty-year-old Sokol Preka, who worked as a security guard at the establishment, died while being transported to hospital as a result of contact with electricity.

Meanwhile, 46-year-old David Deda, although he was urgently taken to hospital, could not survive his injuries and died. He was the father of a minor son.

It was also reported that Preka and Deda were repairing an electrical installation at a private business alongside the Koman road, near the fish reserves, when they came into contact with electricity.

“In the village of Karmë, citizen S. P., 40, a security guard at a bar-café owned by citizen Gj. S., and citizen D. D., 46, an electrician, are suspected of having come into contact with electricity outside the establishment.

As a result, citizen S. P. died while being transported to hospital, while citizen D. D. is in serious health condition.

The investigative team, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, is working to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident,” the police announced earlier.
