The trial in the “Pulse” case continued today with SSI evidence, next hearing on July 6

At today’s court hearing being held in “Idrizovo,” the trial over the fire at the “Pulse” nightclub continued with the presentation of material evidence by the Prosecution. In this tragedy, 63 people lost their lives, while more than 200 others were injured.

During the hearing, the Prosecution presented materials related to the State Market Inspectorate (SMI). According to the announcement, at the next hearing, scheduled for July 6, the lists of telephone communications will be presented, after which only the construction expert report and the testimony of expert witnesses will remain from the prosecution’s material evidence, and then the presentation of evidence by the defense will continue.

The Prosecution continued presenting the evidence by reading only their titles, as they appear on the list of evidence. Among them were inspection reports, confirmation of items temporarily seized by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, files, notifications and reports from the Shtip Internal Affairs Sector, reports of the State Market Inspectorate, as well as cases from the SMI concerning Klasik DM and MMMM Kafe, orders for carrying out inspection supervision, and reports from inspections conducted by the SMI.

After the presentation of this evidence, the defense raised a series of objections. These concerned parts of the minutes and reports of the SMI, shortcomings in reports, licenses and complaints, as well as the issue of who signed them and whether they were signed.
