In a lengthy reaction filled with irony and sharp satire, analyst Adriatik Riza Dosti commented on the opposition protest in Tirana and the controversy that has flared up around it.

In his statement, he attacks a series of journalists, analysts, and public figures whom he says have positioned themselves against the protest and its participants. According to Dosti, those in power have set their supporters in motion to attack the protest in the eyes of public opinion.

He also mentions well-known names from Albania’s media and public life, accusing them of working to discredit the protest and its organizers.

Dosti also mocks statements that, according to him, link the protest to various political and geopolitical influences. In a satirical way, he includes in this commentary Kosovo, North Macedonia, the Albanian diaspora, as well as various political figures from the region.

In his piece, he also focuses on Prime Minister Edi Rama, against whom he raises numerous accusations, claiming that he is trying to strip the protest and the protesters of legitimacy.

According to the analyst, the reactions against the protest have helped clearly distinguish the political camps and the positioning of various public actors. He concludes the text with a defiant message to those in power, suggesting that the political clash surrounding the protests will continue in the coming days.
