Bekim Kupina, media adviser at the Office of the President, has confirmed that the Presidency has still not received the Law on the Specialist Chambers.

He said that the Assembly sends the law to the President only after the eight-day deadline to challenge it before the Constitutional Court has expired; this deadline ends on October 15.

“According to the procedure, the Assembly sends it to the President only after the eight-day deadline for challenging it before the Constitutional Court has ended, by October 15. After that, President Shiroka Pula has eight days at her disposal to take action,” he told Klan.
