The Guardian reports: Errol Musk admits the family foundation funded Tommy Robinson’s trip to Russia

According to a report published by The Guardian, Elon Musk’s family charity covered the travel expenses of far-right British activist Tommy Robinson for a trip to Russia.

The outlet writes that this claim was made by Errol Musk, Elon Musk’s father, who said he had traveled to Moscow together with Robinson and that the costs were paid by the Musk Foundation, the philanthropic organization created by Elon Musk and his brother, Kimbal Musk.

“I took him to Russia,” Errol Musk was quoted as telling The Guardian, adding that during their stay there they held meetings with representatives of Russian business.

Tommy Robinson, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, made the visit last month. While in Moscow, he posted videos on social media and called for protests against immigration in Britain after a stabbing attack in Belfast.

The report emphasizes that the trip took place at a time when Russian authorities were seeking to expand ties with far-right figures in Europe. At the same time, influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate were also in Russia.

Errol Musk described Robinson as “a good guy,” saying that he is “hot-headed, but learning.” He also added that issues such as the country’s falling birth rate were discussed at the meetings held in Russia.

After returning from Russia, Robinson was detained by British police, who seized his phones for investigative purposes.

Meanwhile, Professor Stephan Lewandowsky of the University of Bristol, a disinformation expert, told The Guardian that Russia has a strategic interest in building ties with figures who can help destabilize Western democracies, describing this as part of a hybrid political war.

At this stage, there has been no public reaction from Elon Musk or the Musk Foundation regarding the claims published by The Guardian.
