The Guardian: Errol Musk admits the family foundation funded Tommy Robinson’s trip to Russia

According to a report published by The Guardian, Elon Musk’s family charitable foundation covered the expenses for British far-right activist Tommy Robinson’s trip to Russia.

The newspaper writes that this was confirmed by Errol Musk, the father of billionaire Elon Musk, who said he had traveled together with Robinson to Moscow and that the costs were paid by the Musk Foundation, the philanthropic organization created by Elon Musk and his brother, Kimbal Musk.

“I took him to Russia,” Errol Musk is reported to have told The Guardian, adding that during their stay there they held meetings with representatives of Russian business.

Tommy Robinson’s trip, whose real name is Stephen Yaxley-Lennon, took place last month. While he was in Moscow, he posted videos on social media and called for protests against immigration in Britain following a stabbing attack in Belfast.

According to the report, the visit came at a time when the Russian authorities were seeking to deepen contacts with far-right figures in Europe. At the same time, influencers Andrew and Tristan Tate were also in Russia.

Errol Musk described Robinson as “a good guy,” saying that he is “hot-headed, but learning.” He also stressed that the meetings held in Russia included discussions on issues such as the country’s falling birth rate.

After returning from Russia, Robinson was stopped by British police, who seized his phones for investigative purposes.

On the other hand, Professor Stephan Lewandowsky of the University of Bristol, a disinformation expert, told The Guardian that Russia has a strategic interest in building ties with figures who can help destabilize Western democracies, describing this as part of a hybrid political war.

So far, there has been no public reaction from Elon Musk or the Musk Foundation regarding the claims made public by The Guardian.
