The first plenary session of the parliamentary session ends, protest continues outside Parliament: “Cowardly MPs!

The first plenary session of this parliamentary session has ended, while a citizens’ protest against the government and the political class continues outside the Parliament building.

During Parliament’s proceedings, citizens continued their gathering in several areas of central Tirana and repeated their calls against the government.

Today’s gathering marks the 101st day of the citizens’ resistance. During the protest, police also escorted two people away.

Meanwhile, inside the parliamentary chamber, MPs began the proceedings of the new parliamentary session, reviewing and approving several items on the agenda.

After the session ended, the MPs left the chamber, while protesters remained outside Parliament, continuing their protest and chanting against the government.
