Pristina Mayor Përparim Rama has reacted to the death of activist and former member of the Assembly of Kosovo, Flora Brovina.

In his statement, Rama praised Brovina’s character and work, noting that she devoted her life to people, freedom and her country.
“Today, Flora Brovina passed away, a woman who devoted her life to people, freedom and her country,” Rama wrote.
He also recalled that Brovina was a doctor, poet and activist, describing her as a powerful voice for Kosovo.
“Flora Brovina remains part of our history and our collective memory,” the mayor of Pristina stressed.
Rama extended his sincerest condolences to the Brovina and Begu families, her friends, colleagues and everyone who knew her.
“May she rest in peace!” he concluded.
