Protesters initially gathered in “Skënderbej” Square and then set off in a march toward the prime minister’s office.
For nearly two hours, speeches were delivered in the square, with citizens expressing their dissatisfaction and outrage over alleged corruption in the country’s political and governing system.
At the end of the speeches, the crowd continued marching toward the “New Tirana” area and “Wilson” Square before returning once again to the area outside the prime minister’s office. Protesters announced that they would gather again the following day for the 130th protest.
