Thaçi: The BDI is waiting on Mickoski

On Sefer Tahiri’s “Dialog te Lajmi” program, PDSH leader Menduh Thaçi spoke about the importance of an agreement between Albanian parties that would make it possible to approve a document on “full political and territorial autonomy.”

“When Mickoski sits down to talk with VLEN, he will try to scare them by claiming that ‘the BDI is ready and waiting.’ When he meets with the BDI, he will try to intimidate them, too. He used this tactic against me two and a half years ago, when I was a negotiator, but I refused to become part of that game.

What was I referring to?

This idea is running out of steam, but the PDSH’s idea remains valid. After 33 years of working on this issue, I believe I know it well. Until the end of my political career—and even after I leave politics—I will hold the same position: Albanians in Macedonia will not benefit from all of this unless they achieve full political and territorial autonomy,” Menduh Thaçi said on “Dialog te Lajmi.”
