The response came after a group of young people threw stones at police, who responded with pepper spray.

Stones have also been thrown at the Ministry of Education, where Albanian students have been protesting for days and demanding Rama’s resignation.
Meanwhile, the boycott of classes continues. Prime Minister Edi Rama has repeated his calls for dialogue with the protesting students, saying he is willing to communicate with them.
So far, however, that offer has not changed the protesters’ position. They continue to insist that the prime minister’s resignation is their main demand.
Lecturers and other citizens have also rallied behind the students, expressing solidarity with their cause.
