Tahiri: Kosovo cannot accept the Specialist Chambers’ decision

Abelard Tahiri, a member of the leadership of the Democratic Party of Kosovo, said that all necessary steps would be taken to challenge the sentences handed down by the Specialist Chambers to the former leaders of the KLA.

Before the leadership meeting began, Tahiri stressed that such a verdict could not be accepted by the people of Kosovo.

He described the decision in The Hague as a grave injustice against the people of Kosovo.

Tahiri said that Kosovo is different today and that the people cannot accept this change. According to him, the PDK will consider its actions in line with the citizens’ demands, as it does not intend to stand idly by. He added that all necessary measures must be taken to deliver justice, calling it a major injustice that is unacceptable to the people, the country and society.
