PDK’s Tahiri: Government must urgently amend the law on the Specialist Chambers, without delay

Arian Tahiri, head of the PDK parliamentary group, has called on the Government of Kosovo to submit amendments to the Law on the Specialist Chambers in The Hague to the Assembly as soon as possible.

According to Tahiri, the government must act responsibly and without wasting time, as there is no reason the process should not be completed within a few days.

“The Assembly has fulfilled its duty, and responsibility now rests with the government. The law is with the government, so it must address it responsibly and urgently. The will expressed today must also be demonstrated through a vote on the law. There is no reason for delay; we expect the government to do its work today and bring the law to the Assembly tomorrow or the day after,” he said.

Tahiri also stressed the importance of voting on the Declaration on the Specialist Chambers, saying it expressed outrage at the injustice in The Hague.
