Gëzim Sveçla, who leads the Vetëvendosje Movement’s group of assembly members in the Prishtina Municipal Assembly, has announced that LVV did not support the new parking regulations in the capital.
In a Facebook post, he explained that Prishtina’s executive had not included proposals submitted by his party, leading LVV to withhold its support for the document.

Sveçla also outlined the party’s concerns about the planned changes, noting that LVV is not convinced the regulations will make residents’ lives easier.
In his view, higher parking fees guarantee neither better order, more parking spaces nor other alternatives for residents.
He also questioned the document’s legality, stressing that it remains to be seen whether the regulations will pass the relevant checks and come into force. Sveçla made clear that LVV has serious reservations on this point as well.
The new regulations governing the organization and use of “Prishtina Parking” facilities provide for changes to both the management of public parking and parking fees in the capital.
