Strategic alliance with the US reaffirmed, Sali hosts Nicole Varnes

The First Deputy Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Bekim Sali, hosted a meeting with the Chargé d’Affaires of the United States Embassy, Nicole Varnes, where the strong strategic partnership between the two countries was reiterated.

The talks focused on recent developments, reform progress, consolidation of democratic institutions, and advancing shared objectives that serve the interests of both sides.

Sali himself expressed satisfaction with the meeting and noted that close strategic cooperation was reaffirmed, while views were exchanged on the reform process and shared priorities.

He underlined the Government’s commitment to further deepening relations with the United States, describing it as a key ally and reliable partner.

Cooperation with the US remains an important pillar of our foreign policy, the First Deputy Prime Minister stressed, confirming that efforts will continue to further strengthen the strategic partnership.
