Bekim Sali and Nicole Varnes Reaffirm Strategic Alliance Between North Macedonia and the United States

First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of North Macedonia, Bekim Sali, met with Nicole Varnes, Chargé d’Affaires at the United States Embassy in the country. The meeting reaffirmed the strong strategic partnership between North Macedonia and the United States.

The discussion focused on current developments, the progress of reforms, the consolidation of democratic institutions, and the advancement of shared priorities of interest to both countries.

“I had the pleasure of holding a meeting with Nicole Varnes, Chargé d’Affaires at the United States Embassy in the Republic of North Macedonia. During the meeting, we reconfirmed the strong strategic partnership between our two countries and exchanged views on cooperation in the reform process, strengthening democratic institutions, and advancing our shared priorities,” Sali stated.

According to him, the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia remains committed to expanding relations and cooperation with the United States of America, which it considers an important ally and reliable partner.

“Cooperation with the United States remains an important pillar of our foreign policy, and we will continue to work toward further strengthening our strategic partnership,” said First Deputy Prime Minister Bekim Sali.
