State Police respond to death threat against journalist Osman Stafa

The State Police have referred the procedural materials to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Tirana Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, following a complaint filed by O. S., a 34-year-old resident of Tirana, who stated that he had received a threatening message on his account on a social network.

The message is suspected to have been sent from a fake account. As part of the investigative proceedings, efforts are underway to identify the perpetrator and fully document the circumstances of the case.

The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office for the criminal offenses of “Computer forgery,” “Stalking,” and “Threat,” as provided for under Articles 186/a, 121/a, and 84 of the Criminal Code.

The investigation is continuing under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, with the aim of fully clarifying the circumstances of the case and identifying the person responsible.
