SSO announces: In April, the average net salary reached 48,779 denars

According to data published today by the State Statistical Office, the average monthly net salary paid per employee in April of this year was 48,779 denars. Compared with the same month last year, this amount is 7.3 percent higher.

As reported, the increase was mainly driven by the rise in the average monthly net salary paid in the sectors of Financial and insurance activities by 27 percent, Water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities by 9.4 percent, as well as Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles by 9.2 percent.

Compared with the previous month, an increase in the average monthly net salary paid per employee was also recorded in the sectors of Financial and insurance activities by 20.1 percent, Wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles by 2.1 percent, as well as Administrative and support service activities by 2 percent.
