Speeches conclude outside the Prime Minister’s Office, protesters march toward Parliament, the Security Bloc and the bust of Adem Jashari

The public protest has entered another phase of escalation following the conclusion of the speeches outside the Prime Minister’s Office.

Citizens and activists have begun an organized march toward three locations in the capital, turning Tirana’s streets into spaces of civil disobedience against the government.

Initially, participants are heading toward the Parliament of Albania, designated as one of the protest sites because of the corruption scandals and the rejection of the resolution on the Serbian genocide. The march will then continue toward the Security Bloc, in opposition to the detention of activists.

The march of outrage is expected to end near the bust of Commander Adem Jashari. This stop carries particular symbolism, linking civic resistance with the defense of the dignity of the KLA’s fighting and national interests.
