SPAK must reach the head of the criminal organization, Noka: Rama can no longer avoid political responsibility

The General Secretary of the Democratic Party, Flamur Noka, has commented on recent developments in the country’s main security institutions, attributing political responsibility to Prime Minister Edi Rama.

During the show “Minuta e parë”, Noka spoke about the SPAK searches at the residence of former General Director of Police, Ilir Proda, as well as the “house arrest” measure and suspension from duty of the director of SHISH, Vlora Hyseni. According to him, the investigation into the heads of important institutions cannot be seen solely as a matter of individuals, because responsibility must also extend to those who appointed them.

Noka particularly mentioned the appointments of Ilir Proda and Vlora Hyseni, stressing that neither of them placed themselves at the head of the respective institutions.

Speaking about the prime minister’s possible reaction after these developments, he said that Edi Rama will try to overcome the situation without taking political responsibility. According to Noka, the head of government will follow the same communication approach he has used in previous cases.

“If there were justice, from Rama down to a sector head, they would all be behind bars. They are all corrupt to the core. How can a prime minister stay when he is involved in every scandal? Proda did not appoint himself, nor did Hyseni, even though there were suspicions of espionage in Kosovo about her. When you appoint someone, despite being warned beforehand, responsibility is no longer individual but becomes political and belongs to the entire team. I am convinced that Rama will follow his strategy. He will think that the greatest wonder lasts three days, will get through it with a joke and that’s it. The state has fallen. Justice may be working in some cases, but the state has died. The fact that Proda, Agasi and Hyseni emerge shows that the state is a criminal organization. For this, SPAK must charge them, because it’s not about individual responsibility. I am very skeptical about SPAK’s investigations, but if there were justice, then they must go to the head of the organization, Rama,” he said.
