SPAK issued an arrest warrant for SHISH chief; Vlora Hyseni turns herself in and heads toward Tirana

A few hours after SPAK issued an official statement concerning the head of the State Intelligence Service, for whom it sought house arrest, Vlora Hyseni is reported to have turned herself in to the Kosovo Police.

Media sources report that, upon arriving at Pristina Airport, Hyseni notified the authorities in Kosovo and was then escorted toward Albanian territory.

It is also reported that Hyseni crossed the border about an hour ago and is currently traveling toward Tirana under tight security.

So far, there has been no official response from the domestic authorities regarding her movement or the procedures to be followed once she arrives in the Albanian capital. Further details are expected to emerge.

As we reported earlier today, referring to SPAK’s official statement, the security measures of “House arrest” and “Suspension from the exercise of a public duty or service” have been imposed on Vlora Hyseni, who is under investigation for the criminal offenses provided for under Articles 302/2 and 295/a/1 of the Criminal Code.

Articles 302/2 and 295/a/1 of the Criminal Code concern aiding the perpetrator of a crime, in this case Ergys Agasi, so that he can evade being sought, captured or arrested, as well as the disclosure of secret acts or data and the provision of information deemed secret to third parties, again in this case Ergys Agasi.

Vlora Hyseni is accused of these two criminal offenses, and the two security measures mentioned above have been imposed on her.
