Shkodër, Pjerin Bitani Turns Himself In to Police After Vladimir Bruçi Is Wounded

Pjerin Bitani, suspected of wounding Vladimir Bruçi, has reported to the Shkodër Police after negotiations with police officers.

The incident took place today at around 2:30 p.m., leaving Bruçi injured. According to sources, the two men had known each other for years and had a friendly relationship.

Before the incident, they had an argument that is suspected to have been related to security cameras.

Bitani owns a business, while Vladimir Bruçi had asked him to remove the cameras because he lives nearby and passes through the area every day. Bitani refused the request, and the dispute, despite their previously friendly relationship, ended with Bruçi being wounded.

The situation escalated further, resulting in the use of a firearm.

Vladimir Bruçi was taken to Shkodër Regional Hospital, where he is receiving medical treatment. He is out of danger.

Following the suspect’s surrender, police continued with the procedures and investigation to fully clarify the circumstances of the incident and determine the exact motive behind the dispute.
