Shabani hits back at DUI: VLEN will achieve what you failed to in 20 years with ministers and “prime ministers”

Deputy Minister of Defense, Admir Shabani, has dismissed claims of inadequate and unfair representation within the Ministry of Defense, emphasizing that during its years in power, DUI did not appoint a single Albanian to leadership positions. He promised that VLEN will correct the accumulated injustices over time in this institution.

“Politics is not done with crocodile tears, nor can the deeds committed be covered up! Day by day the masks are falling and the true face of your more than two decades of governance is revealed. Now I am calling you out openly! The directorates in the Ministry of Defense were established precisely during the time you were in charge. Show us even a single Albanian you appointed to those directorates. Not even one! Today you shed tears over hypothetical dismissals from posts that you yourselves never gave to Albanians. What you failed to achieve for more than 20 years with ministers and ‘prime ministers’, we as VLEN will make a reality,”

“Enough with crocodile tears, now it is time for responsibility and achievements,” Shabani wrote.
