Serb List has called on KFOR and EULEX to take immediate measures to preserve peace, security and stability in Kosovo, especially in the period leading up to the announcement of the verdict against former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army.

According to the party’s statement, the international missions should act within their mandates and guarantee security throughout the territory of Kosovo and Metohija during the days when the verdict for those accused in The Hague is expected.
The Serbian political party believes that the presence of international security missions should be increased in mixed areas, particularly in Serbian settlements south of the Ibar.
Serb List stressed that a greater presence would serve as a preventive measure against any attempt to endanger citizens’ security, incite incidents or disrupt public order and peace.
KFOR and EULEX were also asked, within the scope of their powers, to call on the Kosovo Police to carry out its duties professionally, responsibly and impartially.
According to the party, the Kosovo Police must act solely in accordance with the law, while respecting the rights and security of every citizen, regardless of their ethnic affiliation.
Serb List emphasized the need for increased preventive measures ahead of September 16, the date on which the verdict in The Hague is scheduled to be announced.
According to the statement, the purpose of these measures is to avoid tensions, provocations and possible incidents that could jeopardize peace and stability on the ground.
The party called on Serbs and all citizens to remain calm, exercise restraint and prudence, and not be influenced by any potential provocations.
Serb List assessed that responsible conduct by citizens could help preserve peace and security.
In conclusion, the party expressed its expectation that the international missions would act promptly and responsibly, demonstrating their readiness to fulfill their mandates and guarantee the security of all citizens, particularly in sensitive and mixed areas.
