SDSM: Mickoski uses the judiciary for campaigning, the law is not applied equally to all

SDSM today accused Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski of using the judicial system for his own purposes.

“Artan Grubi leaves house arrest amid torches, fireworks and celebrations.

Iva Mihailova crosses the border without being registered in the system. She had left even though both of her passports had been confiscated. The Interior Ministry says there is no recorded exit, while Bulgarian police claim they did not register an entry. So how did this happen?

The police, under government control, are being used for votes and for nothing else. The “Safe City” system is being put into operation without a law approved for its oversight. The minister has stated that they have the Pegasus software and that they record citizens’ conversations. All of this, for party interests.

Mickoski’s bodyguard, who beats women, has been released. The authorities did not respond to reports of domestic violence that ended with the death of a mother and child. A serial killer was at large, five tons of drugs crossed the border, and customs equipment was handed over in a ceremony.

Mickoski appoints prosecutors on television, while he issues orders from the Parliament podium and over the phone.

The State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) and the prosecution are dismissing all reports of criminal tenders.

The European Commission report is catastrophic and speaks of Mickoski’s interference in the justice system. Prosecutors are described as mediocre, while the people are described as a mess and a swamp.

People are being arrested for threats against Mickoski on social media, but the prosecution is not responding to the attack against young people in Novo Selo and threats against party members. The law is applied only when the camera is pointed at him; it does not act when the coffers, the border or the tenders need to be investigated,” SDSM said.

Its representatives say that SDSM does not interfere in the judiciary and that VMRO-DPMNE does.

“We demand accountability. The minister must explain how Mihailova left, how five tons of drugs crossed, why the bodyguard is free, why there was no response to the reports of violence and why the prosecutor acts over the phone.

The law either applies to everyone, or it applies to no one. When the thief runs the gang, the judiciary turns into a theater stage,” SDSM added. /Telegrafi/
