Rrustemi: Kurti’s warning about the Special Court has come true, Hoxhaj calls the vote a ‘fatal mistake’ after 11 years

The Vetëvendosje Movement MP, Adnan Rrustemi, has reacted to the statement of PDK MP Enver Hoxhaj, who, 11 years after the vote to establish the Special Court, described that decision as a “fatal mistake”.

In his reaction, Rrustemi has brought back to attention Albin Kurti’s early opposition to the Special Court, emphasizing that his warnings about the consequences of this process have now been confirmed.

“Regarding the Special Court, I had hoped that Albin’s warning would not come true. Unfortunately, exactly what he had warned about happened,” wrote Rrustemi.

Rrustemi also published his full reaction:

“Almost every criticism that Albin Kurti made in the form of a warning over the last 20 years has been proven correct and happened just as he said. Regarding the Special Court, I had wished that Albin’s warning would prove incorrect. But, unfortunately, it turned out just as he had warned. At that time, however, they told us: You are against Kosovo!

A wrong and fatal vote, as Enver Hoxhaj today, after 11 years, is describing it.”
