Although NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte has stated that the Alliance’s next summit will be held in Albania, Sali Berisha believes that in Ankara Prime Minister Edi Rama was shown a “red card.”

Although he appears cautious about the alliance’s next meeting and says, “I am not saying it will be held or it will not be held,” the Democratic leader points to another element.

“I did not hear a single word saying see you in Albania, in Tirana. I did not hear it. The truth is that at the previous summit, Tirana had been designated for 2027, that is well known. But for more than two months, various rumors have been circulating. I cannot comment either that it will be held or that it will not be held.”

According to Berisha, the way Rama appeared in Turkey shows that he was shown the red card.
