Rama convenes the cabinet ahead of meeting with ministers and Socialist Party leaders

This Thursday, Prime Minister Edi Rama held a meeting with the government, which began at around 10:00 a.m. The meeting was held one day before the gathering scheduled for Friday afternoon at the Socialist Party headquarters, where Rama will meet with ministers and the party’s political leaders.

The gathering is also expected to define the duties of the political leaders in the counties, who will begin contacting local structures. One of the focuses will be the presentation and explanation of the majority’s strategic documents, “Besa” and “Loyal Presence.”

This political move is linked to the Socialists’ preparations for the 2027 local elections. Going forward, the Socialist Party’s structures are expected to focus increasingly on fieldwork and electoral mobilization.

Meanwhile, the Socialists continue to await the call for a meeting of the National Assembly of the Socialist Party, which is expected to be held in the first week of September.
