Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted on social media to the trial of the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army, a process taking place in The Hague that has now entered its final phase.

Describing the situation as a “farce,” Rama expressed his support for Kosovo’s former president, Hashim Thaçi.
According to him, Thaçi will emerge victorious thanks to the truth.
The head of the Albanian government stressed that, despite recent developments, freedom and the truth will ultimately prevail.
“The farce is in its final days, and one expects anything from its authors, but as Hashim himself has said, no one, anywhere, can take away his freedom. And just as Kosovo triumphed by believing in freedom even when it had no one and nothing except its own thirst for freedom, Hashim Thaçi too will triumph through the power of his truth, which the years in prison have only made stronger, together with the support of all Albanians,” Rama said.
The trial of the former KLA leaders is taking place at the Kosovo Specialist Chambers in The Hague.
