Radulloviq accuses Serb List of pressure: You can eliminate me, but you will not intimidate me

Lazar Radulloviq, an MP from the Serbian party “Sloboda, Pravda, Opstanak,” told the Kosovo Assembly that Serb List is trying to block his parliamentary candidacy and is putting pressure on him. According to him, that pressure has included physical attacks and damage to his vehicle.

Speaking outside the agenda at today’s parliamentary session, Radulloviq said Serb List had approached the Central Election Commission, the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel and the Supreme Court to challenge his candidacy.

He said these efforts stemmed from Serb List’s inability to control him or persuade him to join the party.

Radulloviq cited an example from a previous parliamentary term when, according to him, MP Svetko Veljkoviq left Nenad Rashiq’s political group and joined Serb List.

“Their problem is that they cannot strike a deal with me, they cannot buy me and they cannot intimidate me. My seat is set in concrete. There is no way they can buy it or take it,” Radulloviq said.

The MP said he had recently faced several incidents, including physical attacks and the puncturing of his car tyres, which he attributed to Serb List.

Addressing the party’s MPs, he said: “The only way to remove me from this seat is to shoot me so that I am no longer here. There is no other way you will be able to take this seat.”

In his remarks, Radulloviq also mentioned the late Serbian politician Oliver Ivanoviq. He referred to Ivanoviq’s final interview, which he said had addressed the risk of an attack against him.

“And as the late Oliver Ivanoviq said in his final interview: ‘They have done everything; the only thing they have not yet done is shoot me, but I do not believe they will do that.’ I am telling you that I, too, think you have done everything, but ultimately I believe this could also happen—that you could shoot me. I do not mean you, because you are merely ‘ordinary pawns’ who sit here and follow the instructions sent to you in messages from Belgrade and from your bosses in Kopaonik, but that criminal organisation of yours is ready for anything,” he continued.

Radulloviq accused Serb List of acting under Belgrade’s influence and described it as a criminal organisation, alleging that it was prepared to use any means.

Despite the pressure and threats he described, the MP stressed that he would not be intimidated. He called on Serb List representatives to stop trying to obstruct him, saying their actions would not achieve their goal.
