The Crisis Management Center announced that 11 fires in open areas had been recorded by 13:00 today. Seven of them remain active, three have been brought under control, while one has been extinguished.

Active fires have been reported in Saraj, Gostivar, Makedonski Brod, Čaška, Jegunovce, Prilep and Ohrid. Low-growth and mixed forests, vegetation, pastureland, ferns and illegal dumps are burning in these areas.
According to the Crisis Management Center, the fires under control are located in Delčevo, Studeničani, Zelenikovo and Plasnica, where mainly mixed forests or dumps have been affected. Meanwhile, the fire in the area between Trnovo and the villages of Bitovë, Zagrad and Strajane has affected low-stemmed forest, low vegetation, pastureland and ferns.
The fire in the village of Bansko, Strumica, has also been extinguished. An illegal dump had been affected there.
