A group of representatives from the Ombudsperson’s Office has arrived at the Trauma Hospital in Tirana, where they are meeting people who were injured during the protest near the Ministry of Education.

During their time at the hospital, the team is taking statements from those injured and healthcare staff to shed light on the circumstances of the incident and the consequences of the protest.
The protest, which began outside the Ministry of Education, has continued for several hours and later spread to several areas of Tirana. At least 13 people were injured in the clashes.
