Protest in front of the Prime Ministry: Young man accuses that 500 million euros have disappeared through technology projects

During a protest held near the Prime Ministry, a young citizen took the microphone to express harsh criticism of state spending on digitization and technology initiatives, directly targeting the prime minister.

In his address, he raised strong concerns about the costs of a new project and the lack of clarity regarding the satellites launched into orbit.

“They are building a data center in Albania, for which they will gulp down 100 million euros without any justification. This person who calls himself a king is simply the king of tomatoes and eggs. With companies and agreements, that sum of 100 million euros turns into over 200 million euros! What happened to the Albania 1 and 2 satellites? The money has evaporated! It’s about 500 million euros lost in the name of technology!” he declared.

The protester juxtaposed these figures with the lack of funds for vulnerable categories and essential services, giving his speech a tone of bitter irony.

“How rich it turns out we were! May God punish you, for it turns out we had wealth only for these things, not for the elderly, not for hospitals!” the young man concluded his speech.
