Prison arrest for 41-year-old man in Durrës, suspected of attempted murder in Shijak

Durrës police announced that the security measure “Arrest in prison” has been enforced against a 41-year-old man suspected of attempted murder.

According to the blue uniforms, the measure was carried out by specialists from the Serious Crimes Investigation Section at the Durrës Local Police Directorate, following the decision of the Durrës Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction, dated 08.06.2023.

The individual is citizen E. H., 41, a resident of Shijak, who faces charges of the criminal offenses of “Intentional murder,” remaining at the attempted stage, as well as “Unauthorized possession and manufacture of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition.”

He had been declared wanted, as he is suspected of having, on 01.06.2023, in Shijak, for weak motives, fired a gun at citizen A. Ç.

Police also said that the procedural materials have been forwarded to the Prosecution Office at the Durrës Court of First Instance of General Jurisdiction for further action.
