The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Justina Shiroka-Pula, met today with the ambassador of the Republic of Albania, Petrit Malaj.

During the meeting, Malaj congratulated her on her election to office and expressed his wish that bilateral ties between the two countries would be further strengthened during her term.
Shiroka-Pula said that Kosovo and Albania should continue moving in the same direction and support one another. She highlighted the need for greater coordination in foreign policy, as well as Kosovo’s expectation of Albania’s support on its Euro-Atlantic path and in the process of joining international organizations, reports “Bota sot”.
Both sides agreed that cooperation should be expanded in various areas of mutual interest.
