Pozheran bids a final farewell to Egzon and Nafije Bogujevci

Egzon and Nafije Bogujevci were laid to rest today in Pozheran, Viti, where family members and many citizens attended the funeral ceremony.

The brother and sister are suspected of having been killed by Valon Ramushi. The double murder took place on Friday at 2:26 p.m. in Livoç i Ulët, Gjilan, where the suspect is alleged to have taken the life of the woman and her brother.

Another person was also seriously injured during the incident and is believed to be the victims’ cousin. He is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit at the University Clinical Center of Kosovo.

Following the incident, the suspect reportedly turned himself in to the police. The Basic Prosecution Office in Gjilan is working to clarify the circumstances of the case.

A close family member of the victims told KosovaPress yesterday that, according to suspicions, the incident may have been caused by the victim’s husband’s jealousy. He added that they had not previously had any significant family problems and said that the murdered man was the family’s only son.

The Basic Court in Gjilan has ordered one month of detention for Valon Ramushi.
