Gazmend Muhaxheri, mayor of Peja and member of the LDK Presidency, stated that the party needs a leader capable of standing up to Albin Kurti. According to him, based on television appearances so far, this could be Përparim Rama, but the decision belongs to 345 delegates.

During the Pressing show, Muhaxheri said he seeks a procedure in which Rama can be included in the race, while LDK’s leadership should be taken by the winning candidate.
He added that Përparim Rama, Hykmete Bajrami, and others could be part of the race.
