In September, pensioners in North Macedonia are expected to receive higher pensions. According to TV21, the new increase will be percentage-based, and the amount will depend on the level of monthly income.

Unlike the flat-rate increases implemented during the previous period, when the same amount was added to every pension, the upcoming adjustment is expected to be calculated on a percentage basis. As a result, the increase in denars will not be equal for everyone, as higher pensions will also receive larger increases.
The exact rate of the increase has not yet been officially determined. The final calculation will be made once the relevant economic indicators are available.
