Pacolli publishes the Supreme Court’s reasoning in favor of MABCO over Vlora Airport and again calls on SPAK to launch an investigation

Behgjet Pacolli reacted after the decision of Albania’s Supreme Court on the Vlora Airport case, a ruling that found in favor of the company MABCO.

According to this decision, MABCO is expected to return to the Vlora Airport construction site to continue the works together with its subcontractors. With the ruling of the highest judicial instance, the company regains its management rights in the concessionary company, while the earlier decisions of the two lower courts are overturned.

Pacolli made public the court’s conclusions regarding this case, stating that a strategic national project had been held hostage.

At the same time, he repeated his call for SPAK to launch an investigation.

“Therefore, once again, we CALL ON SPAK to continue its thorough INVESTIGATION so that all the actions and failures to act of every responsible person are identified, and in particular those who orchestrated, ordered, and carried out this serious scandal, which gravely damaged the image and dignity of my family, violated our constitutional right to be protected from unlawful actions, restricted our freedom of movement, denied us the right to work, and violated our property rights and their lawful exercise.”
